Software for Education

Due to demand from the students, I have ported the old MECA system from its original Macintosh implementation to Java in 1998.

Afterwards, I started a cooperation with Michael Bergdorf to develop programs for visualizing mechanical concepts and phenomena. Most of the ideas also based on older Macintosh applications which I had written in the late 1980ies in the course of a pilot project for computers in education (IDA).

At the bottom, you will also find some animated gifs for simple demonstrations in the lecture.
