Organization
The Center for Mechanics is part of the Institute of Mechanical Systems which is part of the Departement of Mechanical Engineering at ETHZ in Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, four professors (Dual, Glocker, Haller, Mazza) together with their research groups and a group of people providing the common infrastructure are active in many aspects of mechanics. The center of mechanics typically encompasses about 40 full-time people and many students working part-time in teaching and research.
